Course Curriculum
Hi, I’m Eileen Felix
Prenatal Care is so important for mothers.
We need to know what to expect while expecting, what to not eat while pregnant, how to deal with morning sickness and more.
When I became pregnant I realized how little I actually knew about pregnancy. I felt so lost and scared. I needed to know what I was going through and how to survive.
The education system has failed us on preparing for motherhood. Prenatal care is detrimental for women expecting. Studies show women without prenatal care have a greater chances of injury or mortality during birth.
Learning, reading about birth during my pregnancy has helped me survive and be comfortable. I am sharing that knowledge with the world in these courses.
I want to become a figure in the Maternity Care industry. I want to change lives. I want to campaign for better Maternity Care for all mothers especially women of color who are more discriminated more than white women. I, myself included had a hard time in the hospital experience.
I want to create a community of women that are more aware of their power in birth to help the young girls know that they have the power to have a safe, beautiful birth without an epidural. I want to share this knowledge with nurses that will assist mothers in labor so that they understand, are more compassionate and loving towards all laboring moms.
Thank you for your interest in learning more about motherhood and womanhood. Thank you for being part of the future and change.
